In the framework of the 16th edition of the International Theater Festival ‘Butrinti 2000’, on July 10, at 9.00 pm, at the open theatre in front of the new Cultural Centre in Livadhja, the theatrical troupe “Theatro tis Koulouris” Athens, directed by Dinos Koubatis and Pandelis Garios, put on stage the theatrical performance: “Characters of the Greek Antiquity Drama ” with extracts from of the works of Sophocles, Euripides, Aeschylus and Aristophanes. This show came as the first collaboration of the Municipality of Phoinice with the National Centre of the Mediterranean Theatre in Tirana, under the auspices of the mayor, Mr. Leonidha Hristo.
