Video of Wells

In the village Dhrovian-without-water, in the 19th century there were built many wells to provide drinking water for the residents. The Dhrovianites -natives and emigrants- invested considerable sums of money on building the wells. Also, all the families had to offer a basket of eggs which would be used by the bricklayers to create an impenetrable layer by the water.

The wells have a depth of six meters from the surface, while on top of them, there are masterful walls which enabled residents to get water from the arched windows. The stone corners as well as the window niches are hewn.
